Impact of Fraud for Consumers
According to the Coalition Against Insurance Fraud, the average U.S. family pays $1800 a year in increased insurance premiums because of insurance fraud. That equates to nearly $150 billion each year.
We investigate suspected insurance fraud. If we find sufficient evidence of insurance fraud, we will work with local, state, and federal authorities to prosecute those engaged in illegal activities.
Confidentiality of Fraud Reporting
We treat all information received confidentially. Any person who suspects dishonest or fraudulent activity and notifies us should not attempt to personally conduct investigations or interviews/interrogations related to any suspected fraudulent act.
Investigation results will not be disclosed or discussed with anyone other than those who have a legitimate need to know.
Thank you for taking the time to help us fight fraud.
